The Church Of Christ Is The Bride
The Purpose
In Celebrating The Wedding Of The Lamb. The Church Of Christ Is His Bride, This
Is Us. God has a very beautiful and lovely life prepared for all His children.
And what reward will we receive in heaven? We will go to Heaven into glory with
Jesus and celebrate for seven years. There will be the Wedding of the Lamb, and
the bride is the church of Jesus, of which you and I are part. We will be there
in the name of Jesus.
ü We have two verses that tell us
about the Wedding of the Lamb. Revelation 19:7 "Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has
made herself ready”.
ü Rev. 21:9 "One of the seven
angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to
me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb".
We will
stand before the judgment throne of Christ. At the tribunal of Christ we will
receive crowns, we will not to be judged, but to receive the reward for having
been faithful to God here on earth. We will receive according to what we have
built here in this life upon the foundation which is Jesus. Paul teaches us in
this letter to the Corinthians.
1 Co.
3:11-17 "For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already
laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds on this foundation using gold,
silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it
is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and
the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built
survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss;
he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames. Don't
you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in
you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is
sacred, and you are that temple".
When we do
the work here on this earth as the apostles did, then as when our works pass
through the fire; if they will appear as gold, silver, precious stones, we will
receive our reward. In Revelation it tells us that God will give crowns as
rewards for the faithful. Crowns are given for those who receive a kingship.
The Bible tells us that we will reign with Him forever.
·
"Blessed
is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he
will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love
him". - Jas. 1:12.
·
"Do
not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put
some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten
days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of
life" - Rev. 2:10.
·
"Now
there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the
righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to
all who have longed for his appearing" - 2 Tm. 4:8.
The crown
of life is promised to all who love the Lord. We must remain faithful until the
end of life, and we will receive the crown of eternal life. The righteous judge
will also give us the crown of righteousness that awaits all who love his
coming. This is the Highlight of the purpose to be lived in “God is Love”,
awaiting the coming of the Bridegroom. He is coming for His Bride. We will be
equal to the five virgins who had oil; and were sealed with the Holy Spirit,
waiting for the Bridegroom to come pick us up.
Each one
will receive according to what he did here on earth if it was done as God asked
him to do, whoever did more, receives more.
o
"If
what he has built survives, he will receive his reward" - 1 Co. 3:14.
o
"Since
you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is
the Lord Christ you are serving" - Cl. 3:24.
We will
receive the reward for our faithfulness here, is the crown of life there. The
crown is also reign "meaning a participant of the crown of the
kingdom". We will participate of Christ's Kingship. We will reign with
Christ thence from there on forevermore; including here on Earth in the
Millennium.
Ä “Blessed and holy are those who have
part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but
they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a
thousand years" – Rev. 20:6.
Ä "Watch out that you do not lose
what you have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully" - 2 John 8.
Ä "And the nations were angry,
and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead to be judged, and that thou
shouldest give reward to the prophets, thy servants, and the saints, and them
that fear thy name, small and large, and the time to destroy those who destroy
the earth "- Rev. 11:18.
Ä "Behold, I am coming soon! My
reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has
done" - Rev. 22:12.
Jesus
promises, behold I am coming soon, and my reward with me, to give to everyone
according to his work. Here on earth when we are in school, we look forward to
see our marks from the teacher, to see if we were approved or not. Well there
in glory we will also receive according to how we worked for our God, here on
earth. God is just and fair to all human beings as His Word says. To finalize
our beautiful meditation and study on this precious message about the purpose
to be lived in "God is Love", I want to leave the 22nd chapter of
Revelation here for your meditation...
1 Then the angel showed me the river of the
water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the
Lamb
2 down the middle of the great street of the
city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of
fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the
healing of the nations.
3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne
of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.
4 They will see his face, and his name will be
on their foreheads.
5 There will be no more night. They will not
need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give
them light. And they will reign forever and ever.
6 The angel said to me, "These words are
trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent
his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place."
Jesus Is Coming
7 "Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he
who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book."
8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these
things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet
of the angel who had been showing them to me.
9 But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a
fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all who keep
the words of this book. Worship God!"
10 Then he told me, "Do not seal up the
words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near.
11 Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong;
let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do
right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy."
12 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is
with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and
the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14 "Blessed are those who wash their
robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the
gates into the city.
15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice
magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who
loves and practices falsehood.
16 "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give
you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David,
and the bright Morning Star."
17 The Spirit and the bride say,
"Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is
thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the
water of life.
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the
prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the
plagues described in this book.
19 And if anyone takes words away from this
book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and
in the holy city, which are described in this book.
20 He who testifies to these things says,
"Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's
people. Amen.
Praise God, Hallelujah.
In the Lord's Service
